auDA will be releasing approximately 37,500 com.au and net.au geographic domain names on a first-in, first-served basis at 9.00 a.m. AEDT on Sunday 20 November 2005.

These domains are all those from the recent commercial geographic domain ballot that received no bids.

A full list of names to be released will be published next week. These names will be released as normal domain names, so no special geographic terms apply and in particular the names will be at our normal price ($98) rather than the geographic ballot release price (which was more than 10 times more at $999).

Note that the names being released will not include any names that received ballot applications in the geographic names ballot but where the winner has defaulted on payment. These names will stay on the reserved list until further notice.
