The .BIZ domain space will be universally recognized as being the 'business domain space' and coupled with the benefits of a truly global reach and recognition, .BIZ will extend your presence on the web. <*HEAD*>Welcome to .info The .info domain space is about information for everyone, everywhere. .info will expand the Internet as a global resource that fosters communication, commerce and community for the people of the world. And because there are no registration restrictions for .info, it represents the first truly open top level domain space. <*HEAD*>Timetable for scheduled release of .biz The .biz registry is currently accecpting pre-registrations (until September 17). Pre-registrations will allow some names to be allocated prior to the official main release of .biz. Where multiple requests are lodged for the same name, one of the applicants will be chosen AT RANDOM to be the name holder. It it possible to submit multiple requests for the same name in order to increase your chances. However, a fee applies for each submission and this is NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. If you are successful at registering a name, the usual registration fee will also apply at that time.

.biz is expected to be live and to start accepting general registrations from October 1. <*HEAD*>Timetable for .info .info has a similar pre-registration scheme to .biz, with the main "land rush" period closing September 19. Pre-registrations made prior to this date are expected to go live at approximately this time. General registrations for .biz are expected to be available around September 30 or shortly thereafter. <*HEAD*>Prices for the new domains Currently we are charging $30.00 per pre-registration request and $125.00 per domain successfully registered (2 year license for successful names; all prices in Australian dollars and including GST).

Once the registries go live, we may vary the price for general registrations depending on where final prices are set by the various competing registrars for these new names. Current indications are that the prices for .biz and .info will be very closely aligned to those for the existing gTLDs (.com, .net and .org).
