Special requirements for .id.au domains
The applicant must be an Australian citizen or Australian resident.
The domain you choose should be clearly based on your actual name (e.g. if your name is John Black you can have things like johnblack.id.au, jb.id.au, johnb.id.au, jblack.id.au ...)
As an alternative to the domain itself containing your name, id.au names can also use or include any personal name by which you are known (e.g. nick-names and so on).
