Change of ownership for .au domains
GoDomains can assist with transfer of registrant (domain name license holder or "owner") for .au domain names.
Registrant changes may be required for various reasons, such as changes to company structure, sale of a businesses, legal disputes and so on.
We are very familiar with the transfer policy as well as the technicalities associated with who is eligible to hold a .au domain name and so on. Consequently, we are pleased to be able to assist with .au domain name transfers between registrants and to provide helpful advice to ensure your domains are registered to a valid and correct legal entity.
How to arrange a .au ownership transfer
To arrange a registrant transfer for a .au domain name we require the following:
- completed declaration - we can prepare this automatically for you in the correct form
- payment of a transfer and processing fee of AUD$165 inc GST, which includes a new 2-year license for the new registrant
if your .au domain does not currently have GoDomains/JustNet as registrar, you can carry out a free transfer first and we can then carry out the registrant change for you.
